As the Email Marketing & Automation Manager, you will be responsible for owning email communication streams that are personalized, relevant, and nurture customers through the funnel into sales-readiness.  The ideal candidate is strong enough to handle a bit of ambiguity, comfortable working cross-functionally to understand the business needs, and ready to accelerate business impact through smart and engaging email marketing campaigns. 

In this role you will:

    • Manage email deliverability, data hygiene, opt-in marketing email database, and enforce compliance with global opt-in laws and regulations
    • Develop database growth and lead nurture strategies: coordinate design and copy development, own coding and UAT of email communications to guide customers through the funnel
    • Own and maintain an email calendar of all campaigns, from current customer engagement to new lead nurture programs
    • Partner closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Content, and Sales teams to develop journeys across integrated campaigns 
    • Work closely with marketing operations to build and maintain lifecycle programs (including, but not limited to welcome series, behavioral triggers, engagement program, etc.) that perform optimally and efficiently 
    • Generate content ideas and A/B test strategies for list growth, customer engagement, and increased funnel conversions

The ideal candidate will have:

    • 5+ years of experience in a Marketing Automation/Marketing Ops role or similar position
    • Marketing ops experience using Salesforce & Marketo; Marketo Certification a plus 
    • Strong analytical and strategic copywriting skills, understanding of A/B testing practices, ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly
    • Understanding of B2B marketing funnel tactics and metrics by stage, and a proven history of improving funnel conversion 
    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a strong ability to prioritize and execute on multiple work streams
