Senior Digital Strategist - (Web3 - Decentralized Cloud Storage)
 
Filebase's Senior Digital Strategist role is an important position, critical to the company's overall success as an early-stage startup. . We're looking for someone who can own inbound lead generation and help grow awareness and organic results on our website. This person should be a roll-up-his-or-her-sleeves kind of person, who thinks creatively and systematically about marketing, and takes pride in delivering measurable results. The ideal candidate for this position has direct, hands-on experience planning, launching, and analyzing digital paid marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a range of digital marketing channels/platforms, including website management, landing page creation, digital paid media advertising, and a passion for copywriting.  You're able to express yourself in an effective and unique way, not being afraid to tackle new challenges. You have a mindset for generating qualified leads and want to support sales efforts. 

Responsibilities:

• You will develop, test, and iterate on our digital content marketing strategy.  

• Work collaboratively with other departments to create a regular cadence of content for lead generation (ebooks, webinars, blog posts, etc)

• Plan and manage a promotional calendar across all content assets to ensure a high level of activity.

• Design and implement marketing plans to drive awareness, demand, funnel acceleration, and conversions.

• Work with various content formats such as blogs, videos, webinars, etc.

• Use iterative data-driven approaches to measure the effectiveness of paid and organic channels and to adapt and respond in real time.

• Experience with SEO and digital marketing techniques.

• Coordinate campaign deliverables & timelines between marketing, development & sales. 

• Contribute, generate, proofread, and edit content like blog posts, webinar copy, press releases, etc.

• Forecast and present to senior management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related field.

• To succeed in this role, you will need a broad understanding of the business and marketing strategy, with expertise in translating that into an acquisition strategy and guiding your team through execution.

• Knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, Mailchimp, Intercom, SendGrid, and Twilio.

• A strong understanding of all digital acquisition channels, including display, search, social, lead buys and content sponsorships

• Critical thinking skills – determine which tactics, ideas, and objectives are right for our product and market.

• Strong prioritization, organization, and project management, and verbal skills.

• Public relations experience is a plus.

• Experience with creating video content is a plus.

• Data, Cloud, or Object Storage experience is a plus.

• Interest in Web3, Blockchain, or Cloud Storage, IPFS

• Positive attitude, desire to learn and cross-train with the marketing team; lots of hustle; friendly, funny, and fun to work with.
